Aunt Martha, Big Sports - A Season For Champions!

It’s been another busy Month here last week at the Home! If you ever want to get a glimpse of industrial strength, age related madness… bring a sack lunch and come have a seat.

The “flames” are heating up the “pot of our collective madness” because… it’s fall! We love fall!

We have baseball winding down NASCAR is winding down, football is happening, and the PBR is headed to Las Vegas to wind it up. Plus, the hair on Maxine’s upper lip looks like we are going to have a long cold winter and a white Christmas! In addition, we now have another Senior Citizen Therapist, which has been assigned, to the home to help us make a successful transition to cold weather & indoor activities.

Aunt Martha, Big Sports - No Pain, NO GAME!

It was 5:00 am in the morning and I was on my way to the hospital... Again! I was scheduled for my 20th knee surgery, a total joint replacement. I was told to be there very, very early so I could fill out papers so I could sign more papers so I could complete additional papers and forms so I could have surgery.

I filled out forms to keep others from knowing I was there. I filled out papers to tell others I was there. I filled out papers to stay dead if I died. I even filled out papers telling them that if I went to heaven what parts of me would I take and what parts would I leave behind.
