I have had a turning point in my life. It was the day I decided to become healthy and physically fit. I found the strength and courage to do this with my faith in God because with God all things are possible.

Hi, my name is Scarlett Smith; I live in Sparta with my wonderful husband of nine years and my two very active boys who are three and seven. I currently own The Hair Company in Ozark, which I’ve had for five years. I also work at St. Johns Fitness Centers as a fitness instructor. I currently teach 3 or more classes a week and am in the process of studying to get my personal training certification. I have a passion to help people become healthy and physically fit; I want them to feel confident about themselves. In addition, I am training to run m first marathon in the fall.

My family and I attend the Church of Christ in Oldfield, MO. Our minister is wonderful and our church family is everything anyone could ask for. I have many wonderful friends who are strong Christian people.

Are you wondering how I have time to take care of my family, operate a business, work as a fitness instructor, and train to run a marathon? The answer is m faith in God. I know if I did not have Him in my life, I would not be able to do any of this. When I get up everyday I pray that God will give me the strength to make it through the day and accomplish all the tasks I need to do. The amazing thing is He does, although some days are harder then others. When I am asked to teach another class or when I push myself to run another mile, it comes from the strength of my faith. I am confident that my faith will get me through those really tough times.

One scripture that I tend to fall back on is, “I can do all things thru Christ, who strengthens me,” Phil 4:13.
