The Price Cutter Charity Championship "Ultimate" Giveaway

The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr. Pepper hosted the "The Ultimate" presented by Dr. Keith LaFerriere & Dr. Matthew Kienstra pretournament dinner party last night at the Tower Club. The gala event culminated this program to raise additional money for the 44 children's charities by selling 100 - $1,000 sponsorships for "The Ultimate' tournament experience. The "Ultimate" sponsorship includes amenities such as; skybox seating on the 18th green pond, special VIP parking during tournament week, a $50 gift certificate to one of Springfield's finest restaurants, two "Ultimate" golf shirts and many other "Ultimate" benefits.

The McDonald's Team Captures Win during Tournaments New Pro-Am

The Special Olympics of Missouri "Be a Fan" Pro-Am was held August 8, 2009, at the Payne Stewart Golf Club in Branson, which is one of two new pro-ams this year during the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr. Pepper.
Proceeds from the pro-am benefit the Special Olympics of Missouri, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the community.

Get ready for a week of chocolate, smoothies, and fun! Women's Smoothies & Chocolate Golf Week 2009 begins Thursday, May 28!
The golf week will start things with a Tee-Off Party at Twin Oaks Country Club. There will be wine, cheese and chocolate! for refreshments, a silent auction, and door prizes.
The week will contnue with five golf clinics to be held at various golf courses in the community. These clinics will provide beginners and advanced golfers an opportunity to learn how to play this illustrious game. The Drury Women's Golf Team and local pros will supervise all clinics and the tournaments.

Director Announces Changes to the Price Cutter Charity Championship

The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr. Pepper Tournament staff held a special press conference April 30, 2009 at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame to kick off the, Tickets "FORE" Community Causes Program presented by Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center. To make the ticket program more profitable for the participating community causes and more appealing to the general public, changes have been made to the program and were announced during the press conference.
Pointe Royale Golf Course Reopens!

The Ribbon-cutting was conducted by the Branson/Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and took place at Tee #1 across from the Clubhouse, which was followed by a tour of the course for the media.
The $1.5 million golf course re-do includes new bent grass on greens and zosia collars, said golf pro Jeff Walster. Sand traps also were redone with zosia linings and new sand.
The Clubhouse also is open after a $3 million remodeling. Pointe Royale was built as a planned development in 1986. It has many beautiful private residences and is home to several area entertainers including Andy Williams. The development also has numerous condominiums in a nightly rental program.
